Hey, what’s up guys, this is josh from upright health. Today we got a great question from ace and g55 is actually my favorite number. So thank you for asking this and the question is: how long does it take to fix your anterior pelvic tilt? This is actually a question that we get a lot on a lot of our anterior pelvic tilt videos, so we’re going to answer it for you here today now I wish I could give you a definite answer, but the answer is that it’s going to vary on The individual right, like most things, do because there’s a lot of things that come into play here and it depends a lot on your own situation. Okay, so some of the variables are, how severe is your anterior pelvic tilt right?
Some people are really stuck in anterior pelvic tilt they’ve been there for a while, and their muscles are really tight, they’re holding them there. Their posture is just really formed to that position, so it’s going to take longer to reverse those effects and they’re going to have to put in a lot more consistent, hard work to balance out their posture right. Well, maybe somebody else just started to develop this posture from sitting too much, and you know they can reverse the effects a little bit quicker right. Another thing they’re gon na have to take into consideration. Is how long have you been an anterior pelvic tilt?
Has it been 10 years if it’s in 10 years, then that’s quite a while, and it’s going to be your normal posture and it’s going to take longer to reverse what those 10 years have have become. You know normal and neutral to you. Okay and another. Very, very big variable is how much time are you putting into fixing this posture right now, some people are very dedicated, they’re putting in work every day. You know they’re paying attention to their posture throughout the day, while others are maybe just doing a few exercises a couple times a week right.
So in that scenario, the person who is probably being more consistent in doing more work and paying more attention to what their body is doing throughout the day, it’s probably going to see results faster than the person who isn’t being conscious of what they’re doing throughout the Day: okay, let’s go to some variables guys, but what I would really say is, I know you want to know how long it’s going to take, but really just take where you’re at today and take steps towards making yourself better tomorrow. Okay, do what you can today to improve that posture to hopefully fix that anterior pelvic tilt in the future, and you know don’t worry about how long it’s going to take just worry about, knowing that you’ve done as much as possible as you can today.
